Edit: I can find no info on the demo so I'm assuming it will come out much later like Lego Indy.

It's in the mail from GF for me, looks fun! I've never played a Lego game aside from demos, but my friend raves about them on her DS. Can't wait.

It'd be nice if the AI could do more than 2 things (stand there and suck) but otherwise it's pretty good so far. Only other problem is the lack of direction/knowing what to do.

LEGO Batman is good fun, but it's really just the same thing we've seen before. I don't think the LEGO formula needs much of a change, but certainly the common issues with the series should no longer exist. If you're looking to have a laugh with a buddy or you want something kid-friendly, this is your game.

I would say Batman is just as much fun as the previous Lego games, except being able to play as the villains puts it above Lego Star Wars for me.

I'm happy they decided to use Danny Elfman's Batman score. I was wondering that since the storyline would be completely original how the game would feel familiar like Indy and Star Wars and the score helps tremendously. Even though the story is original, though, the plot is your pretty basic comic storyline, so that is still kind of familiar. The series retains its humor even without relying on familiar movie scenes and the opening scene from Episode 3: Return of the Joker had me dying.

I love this game - definitely the best Batman game since Batman: Vengeance.

I've played through most of 2 levels with my son in this game. It's a lot of fun. I've only played Lego Indy so it's very similar in style and gameplay but has enough unique differences to make it worth getting. There are more moves and items to use in Batman. You get all kinds of different suits for Robin and Batman which can do different things. There is more hand to hand combat with an extra hold move thrown in along with batarangs! There is a driving level in each board and the bat boat was fun.

We haven't even gotten to using any bad guys yet but it's a lot of fun. I would say its a little harder than Lego Indy but I think it might be the better game.
