A lost gem: Star Wars Battlefront 2 for Xbox.

So they've been playing all 6 Star Wars films on my HBO channels the past 2 months.

Anyhoo, it caught me back into "Star Wars mode" and I decided to pop Battlefront into the ol' 360 again. I had bought it when it first came out..but it came out only a month before the 360 debuted..and I kind of tossed it by the wayside to make way for the Next gen games.

Damn...I forgot how FUN this game is!

I've been playing it all afternoon and started a campaign as the Rebels.

With all the different troop types from both the Prequels and Original Trilogy..as well as the awesome space battles...I am really digging this game again and I'm DROOLING over the thought of a 360 version of Battlefront with Next Gen graphics power!

    Come on Lucasarts...get-r-done!

Anyone else still play this game?

My son's favorite game all-time, and we still get a session or two in every week.

It is BC (don't forget the DLC which adds two new heroes and some maps), and I would DEFINATELY be down for some games.

Is this the game that was a complete rip off of 1942?

Great game. Better than Battlefield:MC because you can play with friends only and fill out the game with bots.
I'd be up to playing some on live.

Two Christmas' ago I went back home and played this with my little brother practically non stop. He was so cheap with the Emperor it wasn't even funny.

I had it on the PS2 and it was fantastic. I wish the troop levels were more customizable, but overall a great time.

Supposedly, BF3, which will be an XBOX360 exclusive, is in development. Also, LucasArts took it away from Pandemic and gave it over to Free Radical. Can't wait to see what they can do with a next-gen version--I might get a 360 just for this game.
