True Crime: Streets of LA
I wonder if anyone likes this game. Because i think u should pick it up when it comes out. The game will have 400 square miles of real LA. So I am very happy about that. This game will be like GTA because u can go anywhere when u want in the city. There are a lot of fighting styles and guns. This game will be sweet.Tags: None -
Re: True Crime: Streets of LA
This game looks pretty ambitious. I've been waiting for a good GTA-style game on the Xbox for quite some time. IGN has a preview that's a good read... Link
It sounds like the missions will have more freedom than GTA.... plus there are multiple endings to the game, so it will have more replay value.

If you're on a mission where you're supposed to tail a suspect to a certain location, you're still free to do what you please during that time. That is, if you decide to ram the suspect's car off the road, yank him out of his car and fill him up with hollow points, you're more than welcome to, and it won't result in a "mission failed" message. But your aggressive action is recorded by the game and taken into account. Furthermore, you never got to the location you were supposed to, so you won't know what was there waiting for you. But supposed you chase him down, yank him out of his car and arrest him instead of killing him? He could give you the information you needed anyway, and you didn't have to bother following him all over the map first.

Re: True Crime: Streets of LA
Let's just hope this game is not another Getaway. I have not played it, but the reviews were in the 6.5's. Is The Getaway really just an average game? Btw, I am looking forward to TC: Streets of LA.
I am tired of GTA:VC already. They have got to fix the character models feet, hands, etc. next time and the next GTA needs to be different somehow than the previous two. GTA:VC gives me too much of a "more of the same" feeling.Favorite Sports Teams

NBA - Charlotte Hornets
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: True Crime: Streets of LA
I've never heard of it before, but after reading the IGN preview, it sounds great! It actually sounds like it's bringing something new to the table, gameplay wise..... And isn't just a straight GTA-clone.
And maybe it's good that people aren't hyping it too much.Comment

Re: True Crime: Streets of LA
Yah same goes for the Xbox game Loose Cannon. Should be a great title when it comes out, no hype at all which is good. It's basically a GTA game where your a cop instead. Been in the works for a LONG time. Hell there aren't even any sceens except old PC ones, the game will get delayed into the fall of 2003 and should be at E3.Comment
