^, Sony needs to stop being stubborn. The games arent that intriguing, and 199 is too much for a hand held system. I dont care what it does. A few more bucks and you can buy a Wii instead.

I think $169 is pretty good considering the DS is $129. PSP does lots more and really is more high tech. That being said, I won't buy one. I had one and sold it. Nice system though.

I have heard people say the PSP is struggling. I just checked and it has sold $20 million of them. The DS has sold $39 million. But $20 million is pretty good considering DS came out first and Nintendo owns the hand held market.

20 million for a first effort is dam good, IMO. I bought one and love it although I paid $250 for the value pack.

companies like to flaunt shipped as sold, since technically, they sell them to stores, who sell them to us.

However, with all the sony hate, I didn't know they had 20 million of these out and about. I'd like to read an article about it, maybe I'll go looking.

and by looking at these numbers, Japan isn't good for anything really, at least for all the hype about how consoles have to make it there.

Crazy thing is this. Last year around this time I was debating on whether to get an Xbox 360 to leave at home or a PSP to take to school. I'm glad I got the 360 instead.
