    LionGames.com

I know we've talked about this site in the past, but I searched and couldn't find anything so I figured I'd start it's own thread. They have monthly deals for various games, this month they are Half Life 2 (360/ps3), ninja gaiden sigma (ps3) and assassins creed (360/ps3) all for $48.99 each. The owner posts a lot over at CAG and the site appears to be picking up some steam. Spiderman for 360/ps3 is also available for $49.99 right now. Mass Effect and Bioshock can be had for $39.99 and GTA4 for $42.99.

From what I've read, the customers at CAG have been getting their games 1-2 after release. Not bad IMO. I figured we could keep this update each month, seems like some great deals to be had. They also take used games for credit as well as sell used games.

Oh yeah, Halo 3 regular edition for $39.99.

I pre-ordered Halo3 ($39.99) and GRAW2 ($51.99) from Liongames on the same invoice. I got my GRAW2 6 days after it released. The owner responded (within hours) to my email on the delay explaining that GRAW2 was small order for him, but the bigger titles he gets earlier from his supplier.
I have Mass Effect pre-ordered for $39.99 (minus a $22.50 credit for they gave for trading in SC DA).
Shipping and handling was $5 per order.

Preordered Mass Effect from them about a month ago, if all goes well I'll probably keep ordering from them. They got some great deals.

I just pre-ordered APF 2K8 for $41.99. To get the deal I had to trade in 2 games, but the trade in values are then deducted from the $41.99 price. What you get for trade ins here is much better than Gamestop/EB.

They are running this deal on a few upcoming titles.

I got my APF 2K8 from liongames today. According to the owner, since its not a "street dated" game (whatever that means) he didn't get it until Thursday.

I preordered Halo 3 CE from there; hopefully it won't be delivered too late. I forget, were there different shipping options or just $5 flat fee?

He should have Halo 3 CE available to ship at release. Depending on if you paid for flat fee, or priority you should have it by the end of the week.

Best of both worlds - order cheap online and buy the game on release day at your local store. When the online copy arrives, return that new one to the store.

That's clever. But when they scan a game at Best Buy, for example, does the item have its own item number or just the generic "Halo 3" number?

Generic. Usually I don't mind waiting a few days, but I did this with APF 2K8 with no problem.

Anyone order from them lately? If so, how was the shipping?

They have Kane and Lynch for $44.99 and Call of Duty 4 for $52.99. I've got Kane and Lynch in my cart. Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

The only bad thing with Lion Games is after you have placed an order you can not cancel it. You have to wait for the game to arrive and refuse delivery.

Only problem I've heard is from BioShock. 5 boxes of his shipment got lost. He handled the situation very well, and hasn't had a problem since.

So if you call them or e-mail them they just say no?
