1 of 4 correct again tells you that the C is right, then you go from there. There are also anomalies that you can find in the system that will reset your missed words back to 5.
I'd like to add to that. ONe thing that helped me out.

You'll see before you even guess that many of the words are VERY similar. Ex.

    CLASS
    SPLASH
    FLASH

By not even wasting a guess, it's a good guess here that LAS will all be in the password. Now user your guesses focusing on the last 2 letters.

Oblivion had a sense of community. You bump into someone in this game you get excited. Until they shoot at you.

I'm always nervous something like that is going to happen out in the wasteland. It's such a rare occurrence. I'm always half a second away from shooting people in the face.

I'm loving the side-quests. You meet interesting people - even though they are side quests, the people involved (or other things) are quite unique. None of them feel the same so far, it really adds to the immersion.

Wandering is cool too, although I usually can't go super far since I'll start getting injured.

Which brings me to another point - Megaton is like my home base, and I think a lot of other players are that way too. Without it, I would be a little lost. I feel as though I need it to survive since there aren't many 'safe zones' like that I've encoutered.

The one thing I've wondered about is that armory in megaton, and why I'm not allowed in.... I can't even think straight talking about this game since it just makes me want to play it.

(see you in 4 hours) lol

Actually the teddybear launcher thing work pretty good. You can use anything you find in that gun. Lawn Mower blades are my favorite.

Ok, so I lied. Couldn't wait to get going, so I started the game and was impressed. Didn't become amazed til I left the vault. Almost overwhelmed really. So I walked around, took a right and found a puddle of water that was able to heal me. Continued right for a good ways til I encountered some mole rats, and some crazy *** dogs.

Decided to change directions, and boom. Theres a chick firing at me. After a good battle, I took her down and got alot of goods from her. Left there, and headed up towards what looked to be a junk yard. Made it there, and saved. I believe it was called Megaton. Did I head in the right direction?

I saved there, and decided to wait til it got dark and the kiddies went to bed. So far, the game is looking like it'll live up to the hype.

Theres some quests to do in Megaton too. I'd suggest building up your guns and leveling up before heading out. The baddies out there will get ya.

I treat Megaton that way too. I use it as my starting base, gear up light or heavy depending on what I'm expecting out in the waste and then set out. When done, I head back home to Megaton to rest and sell some junk.
