Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I don't know if anybody seen on the front page of this sight but their was an ad for Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to be unveiled during the NFL Draft April 28th on ESPN."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockTags: None -

Re: Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I just hope this game is based off of technology the military uses NOW as opposed to 20 years from now, ala Ghost Recon. Nothing against GRAW, but I would really enjoy a modern military game for a change, rather than a futuristic one or a historic one.Comment

Nothing will ever top Battlefield 1942 : Desert Combat mod, if they can make a game like that, I'd be all over it.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I have always been a big fan of the COD series, so I see no reason why I won't pick this one up.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I'm not really excited about this. I think they're pulling away from what made them special.
I blogged about it further this afternoon at 5WG.
Instead of having the Soviets stop at Berlin, make them continue to push. Take all the cool cold war stuff that was never used and use it as a game.
Make up a fresh campaign that won't be restricted by bothersome things like facts or accuracy.Comment

I'd rather they go with an alternate reality plot like C&C Red Alert.
