SOCOM Confrontation

It's a PSN game only, no single player like Warhawk. It will be available for download this Christmas. 32 players is cool, we'll see how it turns out. Sony's really going all out with online only games lately. I guess when you have a free network, it's easier to swallow for consumers.

I forgot there even was one actually, I never touched it in SOCOM 2, which was the last one I played. I did play it in the first one though.

Sorry EG for getting off the topic but did not want to start another thread. Can Socom 2 & 3 be played online using the PS3? I would like to pick them up but was unsure and which gets the most online play? Thanks

I never played 3, but yes they can be played on the PS3 online.

Yes i can confirm you can play S2 AND S3 onb the ps3. you will just have to download the patches with these games.

also, im excited for the ps3 version of SOCOM. I was watching the interview with producer on gamespot abd he said there would be no vehicles to start with. I think a lot of old time SOCOM fans are happy about this. The even showed a quick video of a redone Crossroads and it looked bonerific. Cant wait!!!
