How early? Oddly enough I get most of my playtime in before noon. I usually play a lot of Koreans lol.

Well I'm on England/GMT time so the latest I'm on is 9 pm EST. I'm usually on throughout the day though as I'm on summer holidays.

add me, I'm typically on during the day as well. I'm sure you'll crush me, but I'll credit it as a learning experience. Or we could try 2v2, whatever. I've only played 4 games online, and all of them were 3v3 so I am very raw.

Not a problem getting on early. I'm usually on various times throughout the day on weekends.

Would you guys rather just play some team games or set up the tournament (1v1 or 2v2). Haha we could even start our own OS starcraft league...that's probably a bit ambitious, but would be kind of cool.

We managed to get a few team games going on Sat., went pretty well against the CPU, but got clubbed by human opponents. First game against the CPUs was a blast, even though I was barely hanging on for much of it. Sure it would be even more fun if I actually did something to help the team other than draw fire

I always enjoyed team games more, going back to SC1, so I'd be up for some organized times. Usually on fairly late on weekdays since I'm on PST, but I can make it earlier if we have the day set.

My schedule is such that I can do pretty much any time from about mid-day Thursday through Sunday around 9pm eastern. So if you guys want to set something up in that time frame I'm good.

so I learned something interesting about myself. I consider Protoss my favorite, followed by Terran then Zerg. But I decided to start messing around with Zerg, and after watching some replays, my APM is twice as much with Zerg as it is Protoss. Not sure what to make of that.

Its the micro managing your hatchery's.

I personally think protoss are unfair. They have the most powerful units and they are the easiest race to defend and expand with.

It takes longer to build multiple protoss units and they are more expensive so you probably found yourself waiting on resources a few times. Zerg units are fairly cheap and you can make multiple at a time per hatchery. Though I guess you'll run into the same resource problem since you are making so many units.

As for the micro with the hatchery, that's likely it. But after messing around with Zerg earlier, I kind of like them.

On a different note, I skipped the practice and did my first 1v1 placement match. Won it as Protoss, the guy tried to mass Thors and tanks but it was taking too long. When a failed nuke attempt happened, I crushed his army with stalkers and immortals, then rolled into his base and it was GG. That was a good feeling.

Also, been doing 2v2 placements with my roommate, and admittedly we're bad. One team we played against was PT, and the Protoss cannon rushed my teammate (Zerg). He was basically out of it but got his drones out of there. So it was just me. I knew with the Protoss doing the cannon rush he wouldn't have anything at his base and he didn't. I steamrolled him with some zealots and stalkers and then did not have much trouble dispatching the Terran guy. Again, a good feeling.

I swear you guys jinxed me. I got cannon rushed in my last placement match, and that was the first time I've ran into it on there. I then went on to win one of my two league matches in the bronze league.

I always LOL at people who cannon rush.

I've played 6 games today, the only loss I had was against a guy who cannon rushed me on Steppes of War.

Then I had another game where a guy tried to 7 pool me, and I barely held that off before I came back and won

This is in diamond league too.
