Here's a tip on the Gekkos...

Shoot their legs with tranquilizers and it will fall over, letting you get by safely. Careful though, they will get back up after a while.

I'm on my second play through now on Hard mode, going for no alerts... I want that

It was 21 for me....seems to be about the time everyone is finishing their first play through.

My friend beat it in 16 on his first play through. And this was on Big Boss hard. Yes, it's puzzling, I know.

just beat the game. 20 hours, 47 minutes and 11 seconds

ahh ya beat by 30 minutes and 39 seconds

I'm really enjoying the online gameplay (CQC'ing people is so much fun ) There's one gripe I'm having with it though - I seem to be getting shot and register hits on other players very late, after I'm already back behind cover. I also sometimes die immeditely after spawning (there's a short invernerability period, so I'm not getting spawncamped). It sure seems like lag, but none of my other games seem to be this bad. If this keeps up it's going to ruin the experience for me, and I wish I could at least figure out where the problem is...

I use a straight wired cable connection (no router) that regularly clocks in at 1.2 -1.3 MB on internet speedtests. I shouldn't be lagging.

Finished it (19:38:33). One of the best gaming experiences I have ever had.

Looking forward to checking out the 2 hour making of documentary that came with the LE and playing through again.

My friend got that. We're planning on watching it once we (me, him and my other friend) all finish the game. I bet they're both finished by now. I'm just slow, and they started before I did.

it takes awhile. Also, he actually takes you on a much longer and different route if you are playing on big boss hard. Following the resistance member is the majority of the level though (if you don't count the long kick *** cut scene at the end of the level).

Yeah, that one fooled me end I ended up tranq'ing that resistance member and carrying him over to a different part of the area before realizing that he wasn't a PMC.
