just picked up call of duty 3 for PS3. should i open it?

Im not sure what to do. Im a little frustrated with the lack of games for the PS3. I was one of the ones who sold my 360 to get a PS3 for MLB 07. I dont regret it because i love MLB i play it every day. I just dont know if call of duty 3 will do it for me.. I likes cod2 but is 3 worth it. are there any PS3 gems i am missing. Im mostly a sports gamer and shooting gamer. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought I recall reading that the game suffered from some framerate issues on the PS3. Can anyone confirm this?

All the sports games are pretty good on the PS3, you would probably like any of them. The only question is, is it worth $60 seeing as the next year games are just around the corner.

i didnt like the storyline one bit, i was decent playing online but got bored quickly

i played cod3 and rainbow six vegas and FEAR ....if you loved cod2 single player, you will be disappointed with cod3 single player...cod3 multiplayer was the best online shooter ive ever played...

if you want the offline game, go with rainbow six or FEAR ....Fear I think was the best single player shooter this year

I played about 30 minutes of the first part of Resistance and returned it. Let me know if you end up playing COD 3 and if you like it i was thinking of picking it up.

Well I've owned all the COD games for the pc and I wish I would of never bought COD2 for the simple fact it's really no different than 1. I suggest doing what makes you happy...
