    Trading in the 'cube

I have a GC in my bedroom that I got for the wifey and kids....turns out they spend most of their time on the PS2 anyway with games like Tricky and Shox. I gave up my XBox to get them off the PS2 so I get get my sports on.....now I am trading in the Cube for either XBox or another PS2. I am considering another PS2 because I have all my saves for my franchises and what not. But I guess it would be fun to start over with NCAA2003, CB2K3 and have the luxury of the XBox hard drive.......just venting....thanks for reading!

True.......I did not bother with the network adapter for my PS2 but could get the hook up with XBL.

All right you evil minions.......how much does XBL set me back (on top of the 49.95 I am paying per mo for my DSL)? And do I have to connect the XBOX to my router?

The XBL kit will set you back 49.99. When you pay for it, you've paid for a 1 year subscription to the service. You will need a credit card or bank check card to activate it. No one knows how much it will be after the first year. It also comes with a demo disk (includes Moto GP which is a blast online) and the headset.

$50 for the kit and a years service. You can hook it up directly to your modem or to your router so you can surf the web at the same time.
