Those scenes look nice, but i've yet to enjoy a RTS on any console. Assuming it's a rts like other civ's of course.

Should be interesting...though I prefer getting my Civ-fix on PC ('Civilization IV' is AMAZING!). The entire trailer was just a bunch of movie scenes, NO GAMEPLAY! It looks like it just might add little clips for when your civilization advances.

And kapo, the Civ series isn't a regular RTS, in fact, they don't even play out in "real time". It's a turn-based system which is why games take anywhere from a half hour to an hour to MUCH longer, depending on the set of victory conditions.

Yeah I'm a little excited but don't really have a clue as to how this game will work at all. I'm very skeptical of this game so far. In a way this new direction hasn't ambushed me, Civ 4 will be quite a hard game to top so they probably wanted to try something new for right now.

I'm well aware of what kind of game it is, I stayed up many nights playing civ IV

I'll be keeping an eye on this, any game where I can dominate the globe intrigues me

i just hope they dont change it too much from what it has been on PC

and yeah i know those were but scene things for when you build them, but it is still pretty cool.

The best thing about this is, everyone who gets it can run it. I know for playing on a big map on PC, you have to have a very nice computer or else some turns take for ever.

What would be really cool is if they took each battle you have. And took the terrain, and you could watch them fight it out. Unlike the current ones where you just watch from the same camera. Now that would be cool, see some knights going up against some tanks. Cause i would really like to see how the hell a knight beats my tank somtimes.
