A couple of gems on the DS for old school rpg fans

I picked up these two games and i just cant seem to put them down. I heard no one talking about them, and seemed to have had very little fanfare. the two games are:

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the warlords
    Etrian Odyssey

Incredible games. The first ( puzzle quest) being a pseudo rpg meets columns, but highly addicting. The second ( EO) is one of those old school dungeon crawlers with the difficulty ramped up to 11. game forces you to map out your own maps! great graphics for both.

Just a little blurb if you havent looked at these games to give them a try, or look at some of the reviews for them. My DS has now overtaken my consoles with the amount of time played. I play right before i go to bed, and sometimes wake up and start the wii up for a few more minutes of action.

any other gems that people seem to miss out on?

BTW, dragon's lair is coming to ds( original arcade version with a bunch of extras) in the near future. Incredible that they are able to fit this game on the little ds cart.

I am playing Puzzle Quest on my PSP and I cannot get enough of it. I am a sucker for both Puzzle games and RPGs and this is just the perfect mix. I believe they are going to be releasing a version on XBox Live Arcade if this game interests you and you do not have a handheld you may be in luck in the future

I will have to look into Etrian Oddyssey. I know that Toys R Us is running buy 2 DS games get 1 free this week and I was thinking of seeing what they had.

As far as other gems on the DS, Elite Beat Agents is a great music\beat game and I am still hook on Magnetica after owning it for over a year
