the best thing about Ninja Gaiden on the PS3 is the fact that if you die 3 times on a level, the game changes the difficulty level to "ninja dog" which is an easier level to help move you along.

And I am taking full advantage of it

This game is freaking great. I completed Chapter 2, went back and redid it with a Master Ninja status. That made me feel good about my Ninja abilities. Haven't died 3 times on a level yet... but the skyship is absolutely going to tare me apart I think. The dueling katana's are sweet.

I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone with a PS3, no doubt about it.

Sweet. I think I might go pick this up tonight, my PS3 with The Show and Motorstorm only feels kind of lonely.

Ninja Master on Level 3 as well. This game is HARD. I love it though. Takes me back to the old school gaming of Ninja Gaiden, just like it did 3 years ago w/ the original xbox version.

Pick this game up. Oh, and make sure you upgrade your weapons... if not... well... you'll be hurting.

I'm going to pick this one up later tonight hearing that the Ninja Dog mode is in it. I played a little bit of NG on the XBOX last year and the difficulty kicked my ***.

Am I the only one playing it? Anyway, I'm not sure if I like playing with Rachel too well. Against the Fiends, she's nearly useless. They're too quick for her slow attacks. I'm going to have to rethink my attacks I think.

Beat Alma last night. Whatever level she is on, I acheived Master Ninja on that level as well. The level took me a little under 2 hours to complete, and the battle with Alma may have been one of the most epic fights I've endured in a video game. I was down to my last 1/4 on health... but I still had a Talisman of Rebirth.. It was insane.

I picked up the game last night, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I'll be checking it out later today.

How's the loading on PS3? The one city level with all the doors bored me to TEARS on Xbox with all the loading and backtracking (or my poor directional skills).

I might head out and pick it up this afternoon...

You can install the game to the HD, so it helps out with loading TREMENDOUSLY. I think the longest I've had to wait is maybe 5 seconds, and that's going from the city, into where you fought Alma in the church. No loading problems whatsoever.

you're not the only one playing....im on Chapter 7 and this game is really hard....the lowest i've gotten was Head Ninja but that is after alot of work....this game frustrates me so much that I have to turn it off but then I hear it calling my name and I'm right back tangled up in it.....i have to admit that I don't follow the story too much though....probably a bad thing but it gets a lil crazy
