Call of Duty 4 or Mass Effect

I have a little problem, the games I got reserved (NCAA 08, MADDEN 08, Halo 3 Legendary) and have to reserve Naruto I think I will only save enough money to get only one COD4 or Mass Effect. I would just forget about Naruto and get them both but I got a brother that is a bigger Naruto fan than me believe it or not, so not getting Naruto is not a option. COD4 or Mass Effect? Thanks.

I don't know much about Mass Effect but COD4 looks freakin unbelievable!!!! The videos I've seen are very impressive, to say the least. I'm thinking that Mass Effect is an alien or futuristic type game (not sure) which is not my cup of tea. Just my preference I guess. I prefer more modern and historical shooters.

If you have'nt already, watch some of the videos for COD4 and you'll see what I'm talking about. I'm hearing that many people feel that COD4 is the best looking game at the E3 show.

According to what i've read and people's reaction here, it would be COD4. You'll have a great 1 player experience, its already being called the most intense fps ever. Plus if everyone here is getting it, you'll have more games to play with people here.

I'm in the same boat, but i'm wanting to get Madden, Halo, COD4, GTA4, Rock Band, Guitar Hero 3, All Pro 2k8, NBA 2k8, Bio Shock.

That's getting close to a grand for games.

I just preordered the regular edition. I don't need all that stuff or a helmet, but some folks are huge Halo fans.

These are two fundamentally different kinds of games. Do you want a FPS set in the 21st century where combat/strategy/tactics is overwhelmingly the most important component of the game. Or do you want a futuristic RPG where story/character/exploration is the primary focus.

I'm sure both will still do a great job in the areas which are secondary for that game, its just a matter of what appeals to you more.

Well I'm getting both but if I had to choose it would be Mass Effect. Why not just get the regular halo 3 and get them both?

Mass Effect is what I'm more excited about. However, it's hard to say which one will be better before playing either.

Candyman5, you absolutely LOVE Halo...buy COD4!

It's similar "run & gun" stuff (though the mulitplayer community is MUCH BETTER w/o the teabagging and homophobia) and the new graphics and setting just cinch it!

EDIT: I personally prefer 'Mass Effect', but I'm a big BioWare and overall RPG nut...I'll be picking up both so it's not really an issue.
