Will I get any benefit out of this if I have an S-video hookup on my tv? What benefit will it give me? Trying to decide if its worth it to pick one up.

if you have it hooked up with the standard cables that come with the xbox, the Advanced Pack IS worth $20 in my opinion.

Ya currently I have it hooked up with the comewith cables. Is the sound that much better? Ive noticed that the sound is a lot lower then the PS2. My tv is about 3 notches louder on the Xbox to get the same sound levels as the PS2 currently.

the sound will probably be the same. The s-video only carries your video (picture). you will still use the same red and white jacks on your tv for the sound, the s-video will be used instead of the yellow jack on your tv. Does that make sense?

I keep forgetting about the reviews at EB. Thank you, I think i am also going to pick up the multi game switch as well to go with it. ******* me just realized when hooking up the Xbox last night that I have had an S-video hookup and didnt even know it. So I will pick up the 2 items tomorrow and check it out.
