Any news on a new Twisted Metal game? I know it's an PS exclusive, but it would be wonderful on the 360 over Xbox Live.

LOL it does, look at the middle cloud. It's Sweet Tooths face grining. I pumped for this as long as Incog gets the honors. If anyone else is making this game i'll take a wait and see.
This game will be so awesome online I can't wait. Oh wait that's right Sony doesn't have an online service my bad.

Actually, a Sony rep recently confirmed that this ad did not hint at a new Twisted Metal for the PS3, and that none are currently in the works.
Here is the article.
However, there is a port of the PSP game Twisted Metal: Head On scheduled to release on the PS2 this Winter. This game will include maps from the never released 'Twisted Metal: Black 2'. Link.
Sounds like a game that I will have to buy just to get some Twisted Metal action again, but man, I hope just as much as you guys that a new PS3 TM will be released as well.

What ever happened to the car combat genre as a whole? Back in the heydey of the PSX and N64, there was Twisted Metal, Vigilante 8, Rogue Trip, and I'm sure a couple of others that I'm forgetting... did it just fall off?Comment
