              I thought sony said they didn't have to buy exclusives? That their superior hardware would lead every developer to flock to them. This is funny more than anything.

                  Well, they've been pretty active in locking down second-party developers, but I chalk this up as wishful thinking.

                                  Really is anyone surprised that this stuff hasn't started happening yet? I'm surprised that Microsoft with it's vast bank account hasn't handed EA, Capcom, Rockstar, or any of the other big games a blank check to write out for themselves. I think this is the next step

                                          it just mentioned rockstar though. 2k falls under the same Take Two umbrella that rockstar does. While there's the possibility that take two could sell off their various parts, since there was the EA buying 2k rumor, it wasn't mentioned in this rumor.
