So I started playing this sucker finally. My wife was out of town and I have the house all to myself. This game is so FATASTIC!! I was freaking stuck on the end of the 3rd Chapter with Matrix machine. Finally have the hang of this sucker. I'm so trying to unlock the achievement of using only the dragon sword. It's on level 3 right now. Anyone unlock the fourth level on any of the weapons? This game is so great. I wish that there were a ninja game that was more stealth with the balls that Rya H. has when he's slicing through fools. Anyone still playing this every once in a while? I'm wondering if I'll be able to beat this game with just the blade on Warrior. What are the other levels? Are they available from the beginning?

I haven't played it in a while, but I know there are four levels, but only two are available at the beginning (Acolyte and Warrior). I tried to play through it using only the Dragon Sword, but it started getting ridiculously difficult and I started using the other weapons.

The game is awesome. If my disc didn't have a crack in it, I would still probably be playing through the story again on one of the higher levels.

I just finished playing this a couple of months ago, thanks to the BestBuy deal for $9.99. Anyway to answer your question, you can only upgrade weapons to level 3 in the store, you only get to level 4 on certain weapons as you progress in the story, due to things you acquire in the course of the game (don't want to ruin the story for you).

Other difficulties are the Path of the Mentor and Path of the Master Ninja.

I got to the last boss before I quit. I had accidentally saved it before him with no energy packs left and there is no way in hell I was going back and playing that thing from the start.

Very good game though.
