    Xbox- different versions internationally?

Are there regional versions of Xbox and its games? I'm moving to London in September and am wondering whether the games I can buy over there will work in my (American bought) console?

Before you flame me, I promise I did a quick search for this on Ask.com and Google.
    Thanks.

in most countries in europe they use 220 volts instead of 110 - so you will need a converter for your xbox to even work overthere(or even plug into the wall).

You will also run into problems with NTSC and PAL(video).

You are almost better off buying an Xbox over there and selling it before you come home.

    Rent this space.

        Thanks.
I know about the voltage and video setup (still trying to decide just how much stuff to bring over as far as TV, stereo, etc.) but I am mainly wondering if say Madden 2004 will be the same game irregardless of whether I buy it here or the UK...
