Bioshock coming to PS3?

It seems to be a far fetched rumor, but according to this article their is a glimmer of hope for PS3 owners.

This was debunked yesterday at the same time the rumor was started. The UE3 is a cross platform engine, so you will have console information there even though it might never be used. So using that as evidence is shaky at best.

That said, it wouldn't surprise me to see bioshock eventually show up on the ps3.

don't see it happening....another rumor was, Microsoft paid 2k to have this exclusive to 360 and PC only....so I'm not seeing it on PS3.....waste of development and port time...

yep

it was definitely announced as an exclusive (PC/360) but depending on the deal, things could change I suppose.

aside from Enchanted Arms... the "ONLY ON XBOX360" and "ONLY ON WINDOWS" holds a lot of weight as far as exclusivity goes... Timed exclusive at the very least...

I agree. The "only on..." on the cover would be enough to debunk this rumor IMO. I think it's just wishful thinking for PS3 owners.

Bioshock was announced for the PS3 in 2006, then cancelled before the PS3 launch.

Probably old placeholder text that filtered down to retail.

*Resistance
*Motorstorm
*F1 Racing
*MLB The Show
*and coming shortly.. Heavenly Sword

Great games, but 5 games in about a year is sad. I'm looking forward to Heavenly sword, Warhawk, and Lair even if they are getting meh reviews.

Back to the topic, I can see Bioshock being a time exclusive. Right now, I can't see how this game isn't the Game of the year. If it does come out for the PS3, PS3 only owners will be in for a great time.

I doubt it will ever show up on the PS3 much like Gears of War. Microsoft bought rights to the game and were allowed to put the "Xbox360 and Windows Only" label on the game. :wink:
