The little satellite things on roof tops. If you press L3, you'll get a little grey circle that shrinks down in the direction a dead drop is. You can hear it sending a signal when you get fairly close.
They're the same thing you saw during a mission... cant remember the name of it.Aaron

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
Just got the Megawatt Hammer on the good side this morning. I'm about 40% done now and have done all the side missions so far. For those that might not know this, you can laser site your Megawatt Hammer with a lightning bolt once you buy the first upgrade. I just read about this and we'll play around with this tonight (ie. shoot the weapon in the air, then shoot your target or something near by with a simple lightning bolt and the hammer will land there). Upgrades to the Hammer don't increase damage, just give you other abilities like redirecting the Hammer, reverse magnetism and increased blast radius.Comment

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
So far on my evil playthrough, i'm getting tons of enviro-kills, as I just blow up everything, usually resulting in some sick chain reaction explosions. Best one I had was blowing up one of the gas stations, obliterating probably ten reapers at once. Got a nice call from Zeke about a huge explosion after that oneComment

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
The evil Megawatt Hammer doesn't do this though. It actually adds mini-rockets for each upgrade and just does more damage.
One other thing, when you upgrade the basic lightning bolt (good side only), firing it actually boosts your energy and health!
If you are good, you have to be careful with the Hero Shock Grenade. It will actually restrain weakened opponents automatically. So if you send a few grenades in there, it could restrain some and then kill them while being restrained which is bad karma.Last edited by rudyjuly2; 06-08-2009, 11:33 AM.Comment

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
Anyway, just started playing the game yesterday. Easily my favorite PS3-exclusive game. I wish the story was better and the characters were less douche-y, but whatever. The action is good, the powers are cool, the exploration is nice. I'm having a real good time with it.Comment

Beat the story last night as good Cole. Still have a ton of blast shards 6 or 7 dead drops and 3 stunts to do. Started an evil playthrough this morning and beat the first two missions before I forget it was still on medium. So I had to restart on hard. Kind of want to go for the platnium trophy but ill see how far I get on the second playthrough. I think uncharted is the last game I can remember playing through twice. This game is so fun though I'm interested in seeing what the evil powers are like.Comment

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
Just picked it up last night along with RE 5 and Guitar Hero: Metallica at Target. I love 3 for 2 deals.
About 2 hours in, Infamous scores high in the style department. Very cool atmosphere, nice visuals, and a lot of fun. I'm glad I got this instead of waiting on Prototype, which I hear is not too good.Comment

Yeah just go the the New Game option and save your previous file if you haven't already (it will ask you to). Once you start your new game, save it on a new file. You'll now have to save files that you can load up. Your last save will always be loaded up first when you boot the game.Comment

I played last night and was determined to get that darn Air Sticky Bomb stunt and I finally did! Just one more stunt to go! I'm still at the beginning of the second island (just did the boat mission), so I still have half the game left to go.

One thing I hate about this game
one, they dont make your objectives THAT clear
Can anyone tell me how to get the mystery package on the docs
and how when the dude issues his bomb threats, as soon as you get close, someone dies or some other crapComment
