I am thinking about trading my ps2 for an xbox, but only one thing is holding me back. Being out in the woods like I am, there is only dialup available, which means no xbl for me. Is there anyone one else out there that has an xbox, but no xbl?

there are still plenty of things to play without xbl. dont get me wrong, i want xbl, but my parents refuse to get rid of aol to get cable/dsl, so im out of luck. -

not to sound like a fan boy, but dont forget that most xbox games have better graphics, faster load times, and also no need for memory cards. thats why i chose xbox over ps2 when i bought it last year, and i guess also just to be different since all my friends have ps2 and none of them have xbox.
unless something is wrong with your ps2 or youre definitely going to get xbox live/want xbox exclusives like halo, it may not be worth it to get xbox then. it really is a matter of personal preference i guess.Comment

Today, I packed everything up and took it down to Funcoland to see what I would get for everything. To my surprise, everything I had got me $345. I picked up the system, CMR3, Inside Drive, NCAA Football 2003, and PGR. I still have a little bit of credit to help me out on the purchase of the baseball games coming out soon.Comment
