I usually do, but I think its time to start pitching them as they take up too much space. If you have a Best Buy or Gamestop warranty on a console, do you need the original box if you have to return a defective console?

On expensive electronics, I generally keep the boxes for a period of time. Game consoles I try to keep the box as long as possible just because. I owned my Xbox for 2-3 years and when I sold it on eBay, I shipped it in its original box.

Yeah i have the boxes too. I always use it for junk. Right now it's being used for extra wires and stuff i really don't need but I hold on it just in case i'll need to use it one day.Comment

I keep games in their boxes. I like to keep the manuals and I realized it's better keeping the manual and the disc inside the box. I guess in a decade or so all my PS2 will be collectors-only or something
Plus, there's a store here where I can replace used games, so I keep the boxes in case I'd like to replace it.My Specs:

I keep my boxes, but that's mostly because we've moved a lot recently and it's easier to pack my systems up in the original box as opposed to letting the movers do it.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams
