i'm curious, has anyone tried the co-op? Is it as fun as the single player?

co-op is the same as single player, except you have another person who you can roll with. the activities usually require you to do more(more $/kills/time/etc..), but with 2 people its extremely easy, but still really fun overall. i think me and my buddy beat the main part of the game in 2 days, and were 86% or so finish before we had to take it back(we rented it).

i think SR2 is more fun than GTA IV, and the fact that you can do the entire single player in co-op makes it even better. i haven't tried the versus multiplayer modes, but i never did that in the 1st SR either, so i wouldn't know if it was better or not.

Yeah, that kinda bugged me. Not that there's a British accent option but that there isn't an option for just a regular old American white guy. They have a black guy's voice, a Latino accent, and a British accent.

They could've at least thrown in a New York/New Jersey Italian sounding accent. Would've been cool to play through pretending I moved over from Tony Soprano's crew or something, lol.

How do you know it's a black guys voice? It could be Micheal McDonald...

Wow, I have just stuck to sports games for a long time because I never could get into any action/adventure/shooter type games, but I decided to buy this game. I'm having a blast with it, I started to play around 7 and whne I stopped I thought it was about 9 or 10, but nope it was 11:50. I definitely should've done my schoolwork first, oh well, it's a great game.

I played some co-op with a friend from work last night. Oh my God is that fun!! I can see myself spending some serious damn time with this game in co-op in the future. I wish GTAIV had that option.

Anybody have the game freeze up on them while just messing around in the city itself and NOT during a mission? The last two times I played, I was just killing rival gang members for respect, and the game froze each time. I searched the thread btw and I only saw that it happened during missions so far...

Also, is there a patch out there yet? I'm not currently hooked up to the 'net so it wont get a prompt for it.

Other than that, I'm really digging this game...

No freezes for me on the 360, but I think there was a patch for it that I downloaded right before I played it for the first time.

This game is a ton of fun and it's great . . . but the stability issues really cost it points.

Yesterday I was playing a co-op game with a friend and his 360 locked up and booted me from his game. We had both saved our progress before the machine locked up. Then several hours later, we went back to playing and both of our weapons disappeared in addition to some infinite ammo perks. Our earned money was still ok, just no weapons. I hope this doesn't happen again.

The sad part is, I think that's his sister....

Anyway, any word on a patch for this game? I read that if your a Brick 360 owner, clearing out your cache may help w/ freezing problems, but no word for us PS3 owners (that I can find anyway)...
