JayBee, you can't dual wield the needler anymore.

Through 6 missions and no multiplayer yet, I like the carbine, battle rifle, and dual spikers.

Dual Spiker... works great for me. I also like running up on people with the Brute shot.

The hammer is just awesome! I only know where it is in one map, but taking out a Warthog with it is priceless.

EDIT: For a regular gun/rifle I like the Covenant Carbine.

Yesterday was actually the first time I used it and it was on the sand dune map. I was pretty impressed by the power.

I haven't really been able to get a hold of a sniper rifle and if I do, I get killed quickly. I was pretty good with the sniper on Halo 2, But it seems harder on Halo 3 Agree, disagree?


We need to get a 16 man game on a big map with nothing but snipers. =)

Sniping is...iffy on this game.

At times it is easier, but at times shots don't even register despite the fact I know I hit them.

It's still fun, though.

Sniping is a bit tougher than Halo 2, but I think that's because they lowered the auto-aim and magnetism of the bullets in Halo 3. The original Halo is still the hardest of the 3 to snipe in.

I find it to be the opposite. I was damn near unstoppable with the sniper rifle in the first game. It got to the point that a lot of my friends wouldn't play matches with me if I used it. I haven't been that great with the sniper rifle in Halo 3.
