    Re: Ghost Recon

    KDRE,

First thing you should do -- go to your map. At the bottom below each team, you'll see an order window that's probably set to Assault. Highlight it and change it to Recon for both teams. They will move with more stealth and also, when they spot enemies, they won't fire unless fired upon.

Then, when you hear someone say "Enemy spotted," drop to the prone position (your team will follow suit) and check your map. You'll probably see red Os, which are the enemy soldiers. This will help immensely with getting in position before you attack.

Good luck -- I agree, the first mission is pretty tough.

Thanks fellas. This should be great! I could be wrong, but when I set both teams to recon, my team was the only one to move around. I'll try again tonight to see, with you guys tips of course.

          Re: Ghost Recon

They will move very slowly in recon mode -- if you watch the other team move, you'll see that they send one person out front, then the others follow. So you may want to adjust your orders so they move in assault mode early, then as you approach an objective, switch to recon. The team you control, however, will move as fast as you do, so setting them for recon will eliminate any shooting before you want to fire.

You know you guys are making this seem a bit more clear to me as far as strategy. Have you ever completed a mission while losing men in the process? I wonder if you get more help or not.

LOL, listening to you guys made me actually complete a mission . I can't believe it. I love this game. I have to hook it up to my Surround sound system this weekend to really get the full blast of the audio.

BTW, does anyone have a strategy for completing the mission where you wait for a tank to cross under a bridge, and have a NATO barricade waiting there?

                  This mission is quite puzzling.

Stay low. Dont rush. Never run while shooting. This game requires patients and stealth. You have both then your good.

I'm starting to learn that. I just want to take in as many tips as possible. I feel immersed into the game when I play it. I feel my adrenaline pumping when I get into heavy shootouts.
