So I started playing Black again, I'm on the 7th mission (the bridge) and I have so much fun. Every time I put the game I finish 1 mission, unlike the last time when I had to come back and try again several missions. Man, if only there was another game with these graphics, destruction engine and all that. Well, after I finish it I'm gonna play Killzone again. It's a very good game and not that futuristic like other games.

Black is like a hollywood action movie. It's got real guns, so that's as real as it needs to be.

Agree, and all the guns act real. The Uzi, for example, isn't percise at all, and u can't hit any1 from 30 feet with the shot gun. That's all the realism I need. I love this game!

have you tried any of the Call of Duty or Medal of Honor games?

Also, I'm guessing if you don't like SOCOM you wouldn't like the Tom Clancy games, but Rainbow Six 3 and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter were both great games.

I'm looking for PS2 FPS games, so there aren't many options. Clancy's games are horrible on the PS2. I saw some GRAW vids on youtube and it looked so-so. Did u play it on the PS2? Was it any good?
Oh, and I had COD3 and it's nice but for some reason I don't like WWII games lately.

I played the Clancy games on the original XBOX, I liked GRAW a lot even though I felt there were times where the system hardware limitations held it back. I didn't play any on PS2 but I feel the main differences would've been a slight drop in graphics.

I don't know if this was an XBOX exclusive or if it came out on PS2, but Half Life 2 was hands down the best single-play shooter I've played. It is not as "realistic" as you desire, but it's simply an incredible game that's a lot of fun to play with a very engaging story line. It also features the new physics engine so it's a lot of fun to mess around with inanimate objects and the gravity gun is a lot of fun with that new physics engine.

My brother has HL2 for Pc, and since it didn't come out for the PS2, I might get it for PC. My PC is pretty old and that's what holding me from getting GREAT FPS games (Crysis, Timeshift etc.).

Red Faction 2 was a pretty good shooter. Don't know if it's too "unreal" for you, but it might be worth a shot.

I watched some vids on youtube and it has some great destruction engine. Unfortunately the game is too old and it would be hard for me to play it, being used to Black and Killzone's standards. But thanks!

I second the two 'Red Faction' games, and because they are "old" doesn't make them bad. To compare the graphics of games early in a console lifecycle to those from five years later are plain unfair...and you ARE asking if there are any other good shooters on PS2.

Why not recommend from the entire library?

Didn't mean to say NO to everything u suggest. I really appreciate your help guys.
