Or missed out on the experience themselves and start hatting on others that do!

Sorry to be political as I don't think it is allowed here, but look at the Dems and their stance. People want a change and that is fine, but the way it is going does not look to be the change many are wishing for. Gov or not, I see it as another way at limiting what freedoms we still have.

These people always seem to have people who play games figured out. I wonder if the generation gap is the main cause of this.

Remember back in the day when our parents told us, 'that video game will mess up the tv'. LOL

On a slightly serious note, I do notice that after playing certain types of games I become less sensitive to the problems people face today. So, I've made conscious efforts to stay away from games like Halo. It ain't easy though, that's for sure.

If there were more variety and unique games on the market then I don't think it would be as big of a deal as the media makes it. But in this country violence and bloodshed are more embraced over sex. In other countries it's the other way around. What a messed up world we live in.

If they don't then they're arguably doing something other than what they want to be doing. I know I generally am not terribly happy when I'm forcing myself to do something in which I have no great interest.

So basically we'll have a nation without video games and scores upon scores of unhappy but very productive people.

So basically what we have now in the productive world but on a grander scale. Minus games. Thanks Mr. LaRouche, you really have it figured out for us!
        Aristotle, is that you?

Seriously, this is a great post and I agree 100%.
