Have any of you guys had any of these problems yet?
It's crap like this that's making me worried to play Halo 3.

This is after the online updates.

People even re-intialized by running the "initial-setup" on their 360s.
Reformatting... etc.

I saw another person post on Xbox.com forums that when they played the game in 720p the freezes went away.

I wonder if this could be some stupid Fanboy fest as well for Sony or Nintendo.
NO IDEA.

But Still... it's bizzaro stuff.

Never even heard it was having issues. Over 80 games in, zero issues, no lag even.

This is why when I read about it on Kotaku and went into the forums on XBox.com and Bungie.net I was like "whaaaa?" Then having that youtube.com video made me wonder.

As CandymanGT said to me, "what happens will happen." So if the stupid system bricks, craps out, or dies... so be it.

It's an interesting read though.

Never even heard it was having issues. Over 80 games in, zero issues, no lag even.

Not as many games but standard edition and no problem here. Oh, and I saw the youtube video...why do most people in video game videos seem like tools?

I just played Halo 3 Multi from 10 pm till now... no problems since i bought it on the 22nd and i'm on a launch console

Most people in youtube videos are tools.
Trying to be "cool" but it doesn't typically work.
Not everyone is meant to be a comedian.


At least the video showed the problem people are having.

I just watched that video, something is fishy about it. When he goes to load the first game, the camera cuts off and then turns back on.

Well I just got the game two days ago and get the error when trying to start a campaign or tyring to play multi-player. I have the standard edition. Usually it happens when the cut scene ends and you are about to enter the gamplay moment.

I chalked it up to a bad disc and went to Gamestop to exchange. There they said that they had people coming in and calling with the same problem all day long. They gave me a another new copy to try.... Same result.

I've had my 360 for almost a year now with no issues and have played over 30 different types of games on it.

There is definitely somethign wrong.

Well hopefully the truth about all of this comes out.
There's an awful lot of people on Bungie's website and the XBox forums complaining... at the same time you've got thousands of people online that would go out of there way to start rumors due to severe fanboyism.

I hope it's fanboys instead of actual problems...

tons of people had this same problem with forza 2, even me. There was numerous giant threads about it on the Forza 2 forums, but the developer always buried and or deleted them. So this isn't the only game that gives widespread DDE messages. It should be interesting seeing the backlash due to it happening in a more popular game though.

In forza 2, the developer blames the xbox and MS blames the developer. They got good at giving angry gamers the run around.

Agreed, two people in here said they had issues, yet voted no issues. Weird.
