It's the "Halo-do" In reality, it's the same hairdo that Master Chief has, under the helmet.

No problems for me so far (knock on wood).

The only game that constantly gives me disc read errors is APF2k8.

One thing I have noticed since getting Halo 3 is that navigating through menus on my 360 (bringing up my friends list, going through messages, going to the marketplace) sometimes causes my 360 to freeze for like over 20 seconds. I am guessing that it is just Xbox Live taking a big hit thanks to all the new players on playing Halo 3, but it is kinda of annoying.

I had this happen as well, but only for about the first 10 minutes my xbox was on. After that it went away. Otherwise no problems at all.

I don't have the game, but our store has had problems with the Halo 3 Special Edition. A customer returned a copy today because it had scratches on it and it was causing disc read errors...we didn't really believe him and figured he f'd up the disc himself. We grabbed one off the shelf and opened it before giving to him to make sure he was getting a good one, it had scratches all over the discs too. All three copies we had left were like that. Very strange
