Is it me or is xbox like yawning? Yawning seems contagious and so does buying xbox's. It seems like after seeing this xbox, you just have to have one for yourself. For me, i played ps2 and gamecube but i didn't have to have one. I was content with my Sega Dreamcast and my N64. However, last last christmas (xmas 2001) my cousin came over with his shiny new xbox along with fresh copies of halo, ssx tricky, and madden 2002. While his wife and him stayed with us during the holiday season i basically skipped christmas, playing xbox for the whole week he was over. It was just mind-blowing to me. After he left, i just knew i had to get an xbox. My birthday is in Feb. so i just figured i'd get it for my b-day from my parents. Well, my birthday came and i failed to get my xbox so i just took my b-day money and bank money and bought myself a little bundle of microsoft joy. Needless to say since then, i have played my xbox so much in almost a year of playing. My friends play it all the time too and love it. But over the past couple of months, the xbox craze has slowly crept into the minds of my friends. One of my friends and his brother got an xbox for christmas and they play it all the time now. We usually have these videogame-fest deals where we have a bunch of friends come over and just play videogames for 2 days straight. We have had 2 of these the past 6 weeks and in those 6 weeks, 3 of my friends have bought new xbox's. So i bought my xbox a year ago but in these past 2 weeks, 3 of my friends have gotten xbox's. It might be just me, but it seems like xbox is contagious. It's like Microsoft sends out these secret waves while playing xbox saying "get an xbox." I'm just babbling but it just seems a little weird to me........
