If its as good as GTAIV or Red Dead I can't wait. Both those open-world games have been top notch.

judging from what I've read I expectit to be very different and a lot better/rewarding. Investigatig/interrogating etc.. to me holds more weight than 100s of randomly generated mindless npc's who's reactions are all the same.

I'm kind of expecting a smaller gta/rdr meets mass effect meets crime elements of condemned lol

I sure hope so because I've found that I just can't stand Rockstar games. As innovative as they are, I got extremely bored of GTA IV and Red Dead rather quickly.

I got extremely bored with GTAIV, but Red Dead, that was just pure sweetness to me. Maybe due to a western finally done right. I just enjoyed the story a lot.

Surely you are jest. Because there is a ton more than can qualify "all time". But like anything in this world, it is all subjectivity, and everyone has different perspectives and tastes.

This is how I feel as well. With what I'm looking for in a game, I'm expecting this to be far and away Rockstar's best game.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

OK, watched the trailer released today. Looks great! Is the main character the guy from mad men? looks just like him.

It looks fantastic. The facial animations were simply amazing.

I love the direction Rockstar is going. RDR Spaghetti Western, now this 50's inspired crime drama.

Basically Hollywood at it's best being transformed into games. And it is working.

While GTA IV kept me going, playing Red Dead was like drinking an entire bottle of nyquil. I just couldn't stay away and found the game to be boring. It was a shame too, because I really enjoy western movies.

Hopefully the crime scene holds up better, but from the trailer so far I'm going to say my hopes aren't as high as some.

Same, Red Dead was so boring to me, I'm going to really hold off on this one as since it's not current setting, will probably bore me as well.

Trailer looks great. The voice sync animation is amazing!

Spring 2011? That is sooner that I expected. Day one purchase for sure.

I'll give it a look/rent, but it's possible that I'm not really a fan of the open sand-box style of games. Can't name one I've ever finished and I fear that maybe the genre is just not for me.

But, old school detective stories is something I love so who knows? This might be the one that keeps me going.
