    Folklore

    9.0 from IGN.

    This is pretty surprising.

I don't know if many of you played the demo, but it was fairly interesting.

I tried to play it... but I didn't know what the hell I was doing... and I couldn't get past that barrier.... so I just gave up....

I'm looking forward to renting this once I cool down off of Skate and Mysims. If I like it, I'll probably ask for it at Christmas.

          Yes...

Rent, don't buy. Through the first couple chapters, the story is kind of interesting, but, unless the gameplay stops being so repetitive, there no reason for someone to buy this game. I suppose it's one of the best non-sports PS3 games.

I don't understand why there are so many loading screens for such small maps. The graphics remind me of Enchanted Arms so they aren't impressive or anything.

            Re: Folklore

My friend bought it and I watched him played it for a little and I played a little but wasn't too interesting. The opening cut scene was really nice but after that everything was eh. Too much talking to random people for no reason and just too much wandering around doing nothing. Not a big fan of the comic cut scenes either. Not my kind of game though, could be good later in the game.

A buddy of mine bought it and loved it. He said it really picked up after the first few parts of the game. I'm not really into RPG's as much as he is though, so I skipped out on it.

yep four years later, I grabbed this at g-stop.

I played the demo years ago, but the gamers over at neogaf spoke highly of this years after the fact [nostalgia maybe?].

Hows OS feel about this cult favorite now thats its an oldie.
