Re: anyone have the wireless Headset
I bought it and hated it. I traded it in and went back to the old wired one. I was having the same problems you're having and Halo 3 was the last straw for me. I'd hear sound thru the television, then a beep, hear sound in the headset, then another beep. I just grew tired of it. -

Re: anyone have the wireless Headset
I purchased it when it was originally released and I like it. I do have my issues with it, but I like it more than the wired set.
I wish its range was better, since if I leave my living room I lose my connection (with the wired headset hooked to the wireless controller I can go all over my apartment and still have a connection). And every now and then I do lose the connection for a few seconds and hear it from my tv speakers, but it immediately comes back.
So, it is far from perfect, but I do hear everybody alot clearer with the wireless headset than the wired one (not sure how others hear me though). I also find it comfortable. Plus, I have three cats and it was a mission with the wired headset when they decided they wanted to jump on my lap and play with the wires while I am in the middle of a match. lol. Main reason I went wireless actually.Comment

Re: anyone have the wireless Headset
So has anyones opinion changed on this? I picked it up and attempted to use it for the first time tonight and it seemed alright, seemed to cut out at times, although Im not sure if it was on my end of my brothers end. The one thing I absolutly hate about it is the fact that I cant use it while it is charging, that drives me nuts. They should have included a cable to hook it into the top of the 360 controller to continue to charge but have it basically become nothing more then a wired headset so you can use it while it is charging. Since I dont play on xbox live as frequently as others I can see Im going to have a bunch of times where I want to play and the headset isnt charged since it will be sitting in a drawer.
EDIT- Another thing, I have an adapter that allows me to plug in a USB cable to it and then it plugs into the AC adapter at the wall, doing this will allow me to charge the headset without risking anything correct? Secondly, if I do this and choose to leave it plugged in overnight will it damage the headset at all since in will still be plugged in even though it is completely charged?
Anyone have their headset stop working, or basically stop holding a charge? Im reading online and it sounds like its a problem but as always the people with the problems are always more vocal then the ones without the problems. Im probably being paranoid but at the same time I dont feel like spending 59.99 only to short it out by charging it in the wall or having the battery die out on me for no good reason, thanks to anyone that can shed some light on this for me.Last edited by The Chef; 12-06-2007, 07:59 AM.Comment

Re: anyone have the wireless Headset
I have had it for a while and like it. The only issue i have is that it feels a little heavy and sometimes falls off, especially when I am shaking my head in disgust, thinking, why did my guy fumble in Madden or when i know I shot that gut in COD4Work Hard...Pay Bills...Work Hard...Pay BillsComment
