Anyone still play this game? I picked it up for 10 bucks(what a deal!) I know there is a new BF game out(BF 2142?) but I didn't want to play with any futuristic weaponry or any old school WWII weapons in 1942. Mordern is more my style. Anyway, I'm extremely new to any BF game so somebody point me in the direction of a begginers newbie guide. Any good mods out there for this game, etc?

i still play it sometimes...servers are always full for BF2 though theyre mostly Strike at Karkand 24/7 so it gets pretty boring...
look here for the latest mods and news...mod im looking forward to is Forgotten Hope 2 only reason why BF2 is still in my system

yo dude, i still play it. it's 10x better than bf2142. for one, futuristic stuff just isn't my thing, and secondly, supposedly bf2142 has spyware.
I haven't played in a while, so I don't remember my account name, but if you wanted to get a game i'd be glad to play.
