EA owns Bioware/Pandemic
I really hope they don't try to mess with Bioware in anyway.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Tags: None -

Re: EA owns Bioware/Pandemic
Here comes a Madden 09 RPG.
As John Madden, choose dynamic dialog to alter the course of the game.
[in a game between the Packers and Cowboys] Al Michaels: John, what do you expect out of this game?
Player [Choose 1 response to question]:
A.) Well, Brett Favre is playing for the Packers. Now, with Brett favre playing for the Packers that means he isn't playing for the Cowboys. With Brett Favre out there the Packers have a quarterback.
B.) You know who Tony Romo reminds me of? Brett Favre. You just look into Tony Romo's eyes and you see Brett Favre. Although to be honest, I see Brett Favre in just about everything.
C.) Football is a game of offense and defense. Offense, defense and special teams, that is what makes up a football game. What ever team comes out with the better combination of offense, defense and special teams should win the game.
D.) Boom.Comment

Re: EA owns Bioware/Pandemic
It all really doesn't matter. If the creative minds that made up these companies stay, then the good games keep coming. If they leave, they just make a new company for us to follow (See "Bioshock" being a theoretical followup to the System Shock series, just without the intellectual property). Buyouts and starting new companies happens all the time.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

And here I was hoping the next Batman game was actually going to be decent.

Re: EA owns Bioware/Pandemic
theyll spend 800 million dollars on something like this, but they have a damn website where you report nfl jerseys to for madden, instead of actually buying real authentic jerseys to be brought in or using actual source images to reverify that info, which would only cost a couple thousand?
where are there priorities?

Re: EA owns Bioware/Pandemic
This hurts somehow....I remember the reason for Bioware and Pandemic joining together was so they would be able to stay independent...Comment

Re: EA owns Bioware/Pandemic
Yeah that's what I don't get. They were supposed to be the largest independent developers in the industry yet now they're part of EA, that makes no sense.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: EA owns Bioware/Pandemic
Everyone on the Bioware boards are already wearing their funeral shrouds. The meltdown is in full effect.
Mass Effect 1, and maybe the PC RPG Dragon Age are probably the last untainted Bioware games that we will ever see.
As a side note, a deal like this should make it clear to everyone that in a few years when the NFL exclusivity license is up for renewal, EA will pony up whatever it needs to keep it all to themselves.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment
