The Sears stores that have it also only carry the game only, not the bundle with the guitar.Comment

Most are, but two verified they got the bundle. Regardless, I sold my wired so I have to wait for Sunday to get the bundle.Comment

Re: GH 3 - Official "Where is it?", "Who has it?", "Where did you get it?" thread

Walmart just opened a "Super Walmart" near a town where I live. I went there to get Ace Combat 6 which they didn't have. However, there were several copies of Guitar Hero 3. I told myself I wasn't going to buy it but hey, there it was a week early. I asked them to open the game case, told them what I wanted and we walked to the register in electronics. When they tried ringing it up it said "Sale not allowed". They were baffled, I knew exactly what was going on but I wasn't quick enough on my feet to BS my way through it. I asked them if they could just type in the price to ring it up, like anything else that doesn't have a bar code, and they wouldn't. So they wouldn't sell it.

Bottom line, if given the choice, tell them you have more shopping to do and they will take it to the front. I think you would have a better chance of buying it up front than in electronics where they are used to games on the shelves earlier than they are suppose to be.Comment
