Re: Did you have any trouble beating the CIA level in Splinter Cell?
I actually found Abattoir to be really tough. I really struggled to finish that level, and not just the ending. The number of guards, the relatively small amount of ammo compared to how much fighting you do, the turrets, etc. Just was a very tough level. The freezer section was very, very cool, however.
CIA was hard, but I actually did very well once I snuck in and got past the initial couple of guys. When you have to grab your target at the end, that part took a number of tries. But I completed the middle part of the level only getting killed once, I think. I was just really cautious and spent a lot of time observing.
The hardest part of the game IMO was the beginning of the last level, however. The rest of the level wasn't too bad but getting past the initial guards took a bunch of tries for me.Comment

Actually, the CIA level is really one of my few problems with the game. I really thought that it was brilliant, and things didn't escalate from there. They didn't get worse, but there was no "rising action", so to speak.5WG | Facebook | Twitter | fiftytwoplays

Re: Did you have any trouble beating the CIA level in Splinter Cell?
Yeah, it was hard. It took me days to beat when I rented the game. Main problem was that I got to a point where I had to do something later in the level, and the game screwed up setting off an alarm after I kept doing everything right. I ended up having to go back to an earlier save point and playing from there. Did everthing the same, and it let me go on from there. I was kinda pissed I wasted so much time on that part though. Plus it frustrated me to no end not being able to figure out what I was doing wrong.Twitter:@Fetter21

Re: Did you have any trouble beating the CIA level in Splinter Cell?
The CIA wasnt to hard for me. I say the chinese embassy is harder then the CIA level cause you can't kill the gaurds plus in the chinese embassy, there are like 3 guards patrolling in one area. Thank god for save points.Comment

Good, I thought I was the only one this happened to. Good to know that some people feel my pain. It was a great game, but I'll probably wait until to actually go buy it, since that frustration will take time to heal and I'm in no hurry with Live and baseball games coming.Twitter:@Fetter21
