CRYSIS single player demo

Flat out AMAZING. I am still on Dx 9 BUT on high the graphics and physics are still unreal. The graphics and shading is best of any game out. I am going to throw 1 more gig of ram in before full game because I get slight slow down sometimes. But it is a must own title.

I gave this a shot and my PC can't really hang with. If I set almost everything to low, I got a pretty steady framerate, but it would still dip when action started. It's probably my CPU. It's only 2.8gHz. I have 2 gigs of RAM and Nvidia Geforce 7800.

I set the Shaders to high since I read that is what really makes the game look amazing and they weren'y lying. I just couldn't get a good framerate with that setting, but it sure did look good.

I'm running all settings on high on DX9, but I think my framerate is a bit slow.

What can I use to measure the framerate?

I thought the demo was pretty decent, but didn't really blow me away. The destruction was awesome, and were some physics. I didn't like that the bodies disappeared and you couldn't shoot them after they were dead.

Yeah I'm sick, but in Far Cry I loved shooting the dead body floating in the water and watching it bouce up and down. Good times!
