what do yall think of Shanes "get" at the end of the podcast that this coming week..." A very big Msoft exclusive title that everyone is looking forward to" has been cancelled and some heads are rolling. He wouldnt say what title, but that the industry is all talking about it and that it is around 97% chance it will be known sometime this coming week....any thoughts on what it is?

Depends on what Shane would consider as a 1st party title, or if he would consider Microsoft no longer publishing a game as being canceled. Because Microsoft can't cancel Alan Wake, Too Human, Splinter Cell Conviction, Marvel MMO, or Ninja Gaiden 2, as they only have publishing rights to these games.
Internal developed titles such as, Fable 2, Banjo, and Halo Wars were mentioned by MGS general manager Phil Spencer in an interview just a few days ago as coming next year. It's not Banjo, because I doubt the MGS general manager would mention it in an interview just a few days ago if it had been or was going to be canceled.
But I think this time next year, when we’re sitting here talking about a great Banjo game or a great Fable game, or other upcoming games, it will all be a distant memory.Plus it makes no sense to be Banjo, as it is a very important type of game that Microsoft needs to diversify their lineup and try to bring in younger gamers.Well there are games announced that are due next year – Fable 2, Banjo, Halo Wars. Those are some big games coming up. There are other games that will come.

Rumours have been circulating that one of Microsoft's high profile titles is in serious trouble, and most likely cancelled. Well, we can't confirm that a game isn't in trouble, but we can confirm that it's not Rare's Banjo Kazooie.
Speaking to Pro-G this morning a Rare spokesperson has stated that the rumoured game is definitely not Banjo. So there you have it. Banjo fans need fret no more. Alan Wake is NOT the Xbox360 game rumoured to be cancelled. Please see the comment by MikaRMD at the bottom of this thread.

I would like to know who pissed in Garnett's cereal. He was acting like a jackass on the last show.
At least I got a chuckle at them talking about how Major Nelson really wants to be on the podcast but they keep on turning him down since they know he's just going to be a Microsoft shill and he doesn't make games.
Despite Luke leaving for Bungie, 1 Up Yours is hands down, the best gaming podcast out there.Comment
