Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
yeah, head shots are the key. Nice to have some guy start shooting bullets in you and you kill them first with one shot.
Me and BlueandGold did Co-op Terrorist Hunt and it was fun. Very hard (played on the hardest setting). You only get 2 respawns and if you both die at the same time the game is over. So if your partner goes down you have to be very careful until he respawns. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
Damn, I hate the shotguns
Not only do I lose a very high percentage of confrontations with someone who's using a shotgun, but when I go to use one myself, I CANT !!!!
I don't get it..........it takes me on average 3-4 shots with a shotgun to get a kill. With that average, I'm the losing the majority of the battles against guys using an automatic.
I've tried equipping the shotgun with a laser sight and that doesn't help...........VERY FRUSTRATING!! I'm an older gamer, but I know my aiming isn't that bad.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
I know your pain. I was the same way in all games. Great skills with the sniper, but I didn't have that one shot potential with the shotgun until recently. The main trick is to fill up your reticle(or center it) and really get a FULL shot with the shotgun. You don't aim it, you point it.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
I finally got around to picking this up. I was a bit fearful at first that it was too much like COD4, but was pleasantly surprised to realize that it IS a completely different type of game altogether.
I have yet to pour through the posts in this thread to see if this question was addressed. I fear I may have selected too difficult of a setting to begin STORY mode. Is there a way to change my setting down to "Normal" after I have started STORY? The menu access from the start button doesn't seem to give me that option.Last edited by HiJumpr111; 04-02-2008, 09:01 PM.Congratulations BUTLER BULL DOGS!

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
Thanks guys. I was thinking I heard somewhere that you were sort of "locked in" with your difficulty setting for a lot of his games. No bigee, I guess I'll have to utilize my team members better and be more patient. Afterall, that seems to be the whole idea of the game in the first place.Congratulations BUTLER BULL DOGS!

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
Hey, can someone hook me up with the lowdown on single-player mode? I heard it was about 8 hours, is that correct? Is the game worth getting if I'll only play it in this mode?I am become death
Do not underestimate my apathy

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
8 hours? Maybe on easy. But i'm playing normal and have been having a hell of a time on a particular map...I won't say any more. But it feels like and old comfortable pair of jeans with maybe the zipper fixed!
Terrorist Hunt is flat hard as well in SP.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion
slowly making my way through story mode on normal and man it is tougher than I though (I never beat the original Vegas).
Spoilerthe monorail shootout was awesome, when you first approach the stairs and there's like a million guys. The two turrets made it tough, if I popped up for more than a second I'd be dead.
I've got to complain about multiplayer though. Unless you get invited to a ranked game, you're likely going to be on the lower team which 99% of the time is the worse team. So just because I don't have that many people on my friends list who play this game, I'm always going to be relegated to the ****ty team? Yeah that's fun.Lux y VeritasComment

We had an every night crowd after the game first came out but that has dwindled here lately....what's up with that???
