Found this and was disheartened but felt informed...looks like I'll wait for KZ 2 for my online shoot em up fix.

Did you sell your systems again? You are definitely in FF territory. LOL
EDIT - just saw you sold it for financial reasons. Ok, completely understand, but this may sound mean, but I also see you're going to buy a PS3 when you get your tax return. Maybe just bank the money? I swear you've sold your PS3 twice and 360 at least once for financial reasons. I think it's time to bank some money, and just wait on playing the games instead of putting the financial burden on yourself all the time.Last edited by ExtremeGamer; 01-14-2009, 08:15 AM.Comment

Re: Call of Duty 5: World at War (PS3/360)
Anyone have any advice on how to beat "Downfall" (I think - it's the first mission AFTER the Pacific missions are completed)? I'm playing on Veteran. I can get to the part where you have to plant explosives on the 4 cannons in Berlin. But, I can't get past it. I've tried it at least 2-3 dozen times. One of the difficulties is that even after blowing one of the cannons up, it doesn't save it as a checkpoint. In addition to that, wave after wave of Nazi's keep coming and they throw a crapload of grenades. There was a point during one attempt where I was hiding behind a tank and I was surrounded by 5 grenades at once with nowhere to run. I'm rather frustrated. All strategies I've tried have failed. Like I said, I can blow up one, which takes some effort, but I haven't been able advance past that. Last time I was playing is the furthest I've gotten. I have a feeling too that my AI comrades are pretty useless, if you ask me. There will be a Nazi standing several feet away from him shooting at me while they are shooting at someone on the other side of the area.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
