So, basically, if you loved CoD4, this game is worth buying?

Quick question though:

Does everyone online use the exact same gun and perks, ala the M16 + Stopping Power in CoD4? Are there much more diverse guns?

Are those the cod4 weapons/perks of choice?

I've been having a lot more success now that I have the MP40 locked too, by success I mean 1:1 k/d ratio.

I swear if I didn't have fake internet friends from OS to talk to on the mic and curse at I would never play this game...

It just makes my head want to explode sometimes. I don't know if I'll ever reach 65, and I'm at 61...

I decided to beat the game yesterday, so whipped through it and tried the zombie mode. Ugh, it's freaking terrible.

I also love my karyk (sp?) with no scope.

I'm a sniper, but my best non-sniper set-up right now is the mg42 w/ double tap! it's like a machine (even though it already is). You can barely hear the clicks it's so fast, so close range it's rediculous you dont' have to aim, you just kill kill kill. The shotgun always temps me (double barrel) because of the insane gore payoff from a close-up kill.

Have to agree w/ others the mp40 is a great gun especially for a beginner. I still use it sometimes, but it is well balanced and if you don't hold the trigger down too long it's pretty accurate.

There are a lot of crappy guns in the game though
