Re: Call of Duty 5: World at War (PS3/360)
I played 10-12 rounds yesterday(haven't played since the week the game came out) and the amount of glitching/cheating in this game is crazy. every single round i played, somebody was on top/bottom/outside the map sniping everyone through walls. I though it was bad in CoD4, but this game is ridiculous. i even left the server and looked for another, only to find out someone was glitching in that server as well. makes the game unfun when somebody has to cheat just to get good stats.Comment

i was on the beginner level (whatever it's called) and there were dudes with 30 40 50+ levels playing. I asked them why they were playing on EASY and they said they can't compete in the higher levels, Yet they had 30+ kills and 5 or six deaths on the beginner level.Comment

Re: Call of Duty 5: World at War (PS3/360)
Hm... I haven't really seen that much glitching the past couple of weeks. I haven't seen anybody underneath or on top of any maps to where they were untouchable, but the one thing I have seen are people "floating" on Outskirts above one of the buildings and chilling up in the stratosphere. Given, you can easily take these people out because they're out in the open, but it is kind of annoying. I'm sorry you had such a problem with glitchers when you played... I just figured a lot of it was fixed.
even more funny is that after the match, the people that were glitching were gloating how good their stats were as if they were actually good.Comment

Re: Call of Duty 5: World at War (PS3/360)
Try playing a lvl with all cards turned on...It fun as heck but takes alot of skill. All you have are dud grenades and the only way you can kill people is to hit them in the head with dud grenade....and of course they explode. Alos anyone know the easter egg about how to get the Lazer pistol in a campaign lvl?Last edited by Candyman5; 02-11-2009, 08:51 PM.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Call of Duty 5: World at War (PS3/360)
Maybe i just got unlucky 12 servers in a row or something. I don't remember the exact names of the maps I played, but cliffside, Asylum, and outskirts(thats the one with the big church tower right?) were the main ones I saw people glitching on. yea, I could kill them too, but looking in the middle of the sky is not a "normal" looking place when looking to kill infantry in a WWII shooter game. on Asylum some were outside the side of the map and were able to shoot through the wall. they can kill you, but you couldn't shoot them.
even more funny is that after the match, the people that were glitching were gloating how good their stats were as if they were actually good.
I have a few reasons why I think cod5 multiplayer is better than cod4's. I find there is a bit more noticeable cheating in 5 though.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

I know CoD doesn't use dedicated servers, but the "host" can be considered the "server" in the peer-2-peer type networking in this situation. some 360 games do use dedicated servers, Left4 Dead being one of them.Comment
