Has anyone else had this happen. If so how do you fix it? My guitar isn't even registering on Guitar Hero 2 or 3. Any ideas?
Stupid Capitals. New year same story. 3-1 lead goes bye bye. Oh well!

Your Rock Band guitar is not registering in Guitar Hero, or your GH one is not registering for GH? Because the RB guitar is not supposed to work with GH.

Eitherway, maybe it is a problem with your system's USB port. Have you tried both ports? How about the one in the back?

It was the USB port. I tried plugging in the controllers and all of them lit up without a problem. I'll have to go find another USB port. I almost went crazy trying to get the stupid thing to work.

One time my RB Drumset did not want to register when I plugged it in. Turns out the USB cable has a section close to where you plug it into the 360 that you can disconnect (the plastic cylindrical section) , I guess in case someone trips on the cable that it will just split open instead of knocking down your 360. Mine was slightly disconnected, preventing the drumset from getting power. I just made sure that connection was secure and it worked after that.
