Me and Born were talking on the Meebo thing while watching it. Great, great match, Daigo is just insane.

Also, good to see the east coast representing at Evo! I am seriously contemplating going next year. My Fei should be ready by then and I can hit up Chinatown and my school for tournaments. I probably won't make it out of my pool but I figure the experience should be like no other. Just watching it made me what to be there.

Agreed on all points. That last match was at SUCH a high level. Even in Japanese vids, the only matches I saw at that high of a level was Mago's Sagat vs. what's his name's Dhalsim(the Japanese dude who Justin beat up at Gamestop Finals). This was a truly legendary moment in competition, probably the most in video games. This was the Federer/Nadal of gaming.

Justin Wong may be the ONLY player on planet Earth who has three characters that can compete on a world class level.

Mo, you can compete at Evo if you put in the Chinatown time. Once you balance out focus fishing, reacting and pressuring, you'll be able to take the next step. Then you gotta learn the matchups.

It all depends on how things go in August. Things are really heating up for me in comics right now, and I've been practicing the drawing very much, in addition to the work that I've been doing. That practice has been paying off, and if I have another few weeks like it, I might really be able to step up.

If that does happen and I get better and faster, I'll have some time to grind out long SF4 nights after comicon. If I get lazy and fall off, I'm wrapping up my Xbox until I turn into Adam Hughes.

Now if I indeed do grind, I'll keep ya'll updated on how well I'm doing. After I had stopped for awhile and got rusty, I ran into Gootecks online and challenged him to a match. I almost won. Took him down to the third round with less than 20% life, but got impatient. I don't know how good I am if I'm sharp, but I'm good at practicing so we'll see.

And I figured out Sakura was kick-*** in this game when when I ran her through Hardest level, but would just miss beating Seth. I rolled through Hardest and Seth with Sagat like it was nothing. Sagat is mine w/ Ken as my backup. But Sakura is a fave of mine.

Seth Killian is staying at the same hotel as me and the rest of the Top Cow guys. I ran into him at the lobby and talked to him for awhile about Evo and what not. Pretty neat tidbit: Seth still plays, but was automatically disqualified from Evo because he works for Capcom. But he does still compete and he plays on Xbox Live. It'd be cool to run into him on there.
