Lead designer on Thief: Deadly Shadows and the creator of the infamous Shalebridge Cradle level. Artist/level designer on BioShock. He created Fort Frolic and just had a big hand in the overall vision for the game.

Here's an interview with him a couple months back.

2K Marin creative director Jordan Thomas pulls back the curtain on BioShock’s Fort Frolic - the secret is hidden in what isn’t there - and hints at what may be in store for the game's follow-up.

In that case, I think you're right about it being in good hands. TS was fantastic.

BioShock 1 was EPIC...so much fear and imagination combined into one.

the atmosphere is what made the 1st. Without that, it's just an average shooter...or wrench wielding game.

Don't think anyone would disagree with that, still because of it's atmosphere it was my favorite FPS in a LONG time.
