FPS game for PC - please HELP!

I'm looking for a good FPS game for PC. Now, I've already played FEAR, SWAT, Chaser, The Regiment, Condemned, Doom 3, Shadow Ops: Red Mercury, SOF2, Specnaz, Terrorist takedown (the first, looking for the 2nd), CS: CZ, Vietcong, BF2, Close Combat: First2Fight, Boiling Point, XIII, Devastation, Psychotoxic.
*I don't like sci-fi/futuristic games, nor historical games (WWII, Vietnam etc.). I like games about the present time with today's weapons: M16, AK47, shotgun and some newer ones... HL2 is too futuristic for me and I had it.
*I don't like those multiplayer games like CS etc...
    *I don't have a high-end PC: P4 3.05 GHz, 1Giga ram, GeForce 6200 LE 256M...

I've gone through all existing PC FPS games on Gamespot - even from 2002 and couldn't find anything I liked. I played Black on my PS2 and it was AWESOME! If only there was a game like that for PC...

    Thanks!
    My Specs:

    ZX Spectrum
    CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
    GPU: Monochrome display
    RAM: 48 KB
    OS: Sinclair BASIC

Did you play Far Cry yet? That should work on your PC reasonably well. It has monsters but that doesnt mean its futuristic.

      Call of Duty 4, Half-Life 2...

...heck, if you have Steam, I have a "friend" freebie copy of HL2 that I can give away. I just don't know anybody who's into FPS' that hasn't already played it.

I know you said you didn't like CS. Would you be willing to try Joint operations? I played it on and off for a couple of years when it cam out in 2004. It's a modern setting and they have like 100 people of some of the multiplayer servers.

I had played all the games u guys mentioned - except for COD4 which, of course, won't run on my PC. Why on earth do the sci-fi FPS games are so common and fantastic (no for me, of course) while modern FPS games are so few and bad?

                Operation Flashpoint.

Semi-modern (1985), features all the weapons you mentioned, mostly singleplayer based although the multiplayer is good, and since it's from 2001 it should run fine on your machine.

Very realistic and difficult game, but it's a lot of fun. Graphics are butt-ugly, but the gameplay makes up for it.

Judging by the rest of the games he's tried, graphics aren't a major concern.

How about Rainbow Six 3? Or the pre-GRAW Ghost Recons?

As for Crysis - waste of time because it would run like 5 fps if not worse. Operation Flashpoint - tried it but I like more action FPS and not too tactic FPS, I really liked Black (PS2) but couldn't find a PC game that plays similar. Rainbow Six 3 - downloaded the demo - not bad but again too tactic. I like FPS games where u play alone better than team games.
Anyway, I wanna thank all the guys who tried to help, but I guess I need to upgrade my video card or I won't have anything to play.

It's not that great looking, but try the original CoD with the expansion pack. This is guaranteed to run on almost any computer these days. I don't play single player much, but multiplayer is great and the most fun I've had playing someone online.

I mostly game with one friend online and play on some user created maps that are great for 2 players. I have an extra computer I use as a server and anyone can join when it's running.

Good call right here. The NOLF games are great.

How about Freedom Fighters? Its third person but its really really good. You can probably get it for 6 bucks somewhere.

Again, played all those games (I played a LOT of FPS gams, didn't I?). Now I'm thinking about Soldier of Fortune 3: Payback, but not sure if it can run on my PC. I've read that there aren't graphics options in the game - is it true? And I've read that people configure some .ini files for more options. Any1 heard about it? Any1 can tell me if I can play it?
